Child Therapy

Children often express stress through their behaviour rather than words. Therapy provides a safe space to explore what they're experiencing beneath the surface while helping them build emotional awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and grow in confidence. My goal is to support your child's well-being not only in therapy but also at home, at school, and in their relationships.

I understand that every child is unique, and so is their journey. That's why I provide a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe to express themselves, explore their emotions, and develop the confidence to overcome life's challenges. In addition to my clinical experience, I have spent several years coaching children in sports, which has strengthened my ability to build trusting relationships, foster confidence, and support children's emotional and social development in a positive, encouraging environment. I work closely with families to create personalized treatment plans that address each child's emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. I also believe that parents play an essential role in the therapeutic process, so I prioritize open collaboration to ensure you feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way.

I offer a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your child's individual needs. These include play therapy, which allows younger children to communicate and process emotions through play; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which helps children develop healthier thought patterns and effective coping skills; and social skills training to strengthen confidence and positive peer relationships. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques and parent coaching to help reinforce progress beyond our sessions. My goal is to help your child thrive—not only in therapy but in all areas of their everyday life.
